Sumo Wrastlin!

Some stuff I've been doodlin on lately.  Definitely seeing some bad habits and repeat elements I'll try and fix in the future. But! I had fun working on them.

Accidental

Been busy lately and the blog has been a little neglected.  Decided to try and turn my brain off and paint for fun tonight and ended with this thing.

New Jorb!

I recently accepted a job at Blizzard and will be working on the World of Warcraft team as a Character Artist!  It's a dream come true and I couldn't be more excited for whats to come, I feel extremely grateful for the opportunity. I'm going to miss my friends at Carbine and wish everyone the best, my time there was awesome.  Wish me luck!

Finished?

Started doing this a little bit before Diablo launched and came within inches of finishing. Then the game released and it had to take back seat for a while until I had a chance to destroy the prime evils. Even now I have some small changes I will try to get to, If I can find some extra time i'd like to add a little more asymmetry. art is never done.

Came out to around 4500 tris and 1k diffuse

Diablo the 3rd

In preparation for May 15th i've been keepin myself busy by attempting this Diabloesque project.  The plan is to high poly it but still maintain the hand painted feel. it's been fun/challenging to attempt something a little more realistic than what I'm used to.

This is one of those things i'm hesitant to post but its been a while and I want to start getting back in the habbit. His name is probably Dennis or at least Matt Damon. 

Three Dimensions!?

It's been a while since I've been able to do some 3D work at home other than some zbrush practice, which is what this was until one thing led to another.
